Both are great games. It really comes down to a matter of opinion. DA:O is a lot less linear and more of an epic storyline with a lot larger of an area to explore. DA2 has a more linear storyline and less places to explore, but the combat is much faster paced and the storyline is more complex and your companions play a more important role in the story as a whole.
And really, it's also going to depend heavily on which group of companions you like best, since interacting with them is a big part of both games.Which one is better dragon age origins or dragon age 2?
Origins is better by leaps and bounds. The story is much richer and you have the added bonus of being able to customize your character far more than you do in DA2. Stick with DA:O and if you do decide to play DA2 try not to be too disappointed.Which one is better dragon age origins or dragon age 2?
I personally think Origins is the better game but then again there are very few sequels that can really compare to the original. They did a good job with Dragon Age 2 but Origins will always be my favourite.
DA 2. I liked origins because there were more places to explore but DA 2 had better combat and more weapons/armour. I didnt get to finish DA 2 because i couldnt kill the dragons but I still enjoyed it.
