I've played the game 2 times as a mage but still dont get it im dence i knowIn Dragon age Origins what is the Chantry's view on magic i dont undstand it?

Magic is something that people are born with and grants a terrible power to them. Without control, people could use magic to rule the world, perform mass murder, trick the entire world into believing a lie. It is for that reason that those born with magic are corralled and taught how to properly use and control it. If they are unable to or unwilling to, that person must be eliminated for the good of society.
