That depends; would you have a game that you have no clue what's going on (you need assassin's creed 1 to understand it better), or would you get a game that's just like an MMO (multiplayer online). I'm not saying Assassin's Creed 2 is bad, I personally prefer it.
Ok i would really say dragon age origins. Assassin creed is a great game ill admit, but it gets old, you pretty much do everything the same way over and over again. It can get annoying and boring pretty quickly. Dragon age origins, theres so much differentiality! Theres so many things to do, so many quest, people, friends, enemys, and you get to select your origin. The game has great graphics and has a good story lline for any of the characters you choose. Both seem to be very good games. However I would choose Assassins Creed 2.
If you have have ever played Elder Scrolls Oblivion you will find that DA:O is a less interesting version of it riddled with all kinds of defects and bugs. Some have also compared it to Mass Effect in its combat style as well, but again, less interesting. The graphics in DA:O probably don't really contend well with other graphics of its time.
The story is also just a cookie cutter RPG style story with all very common elements.
I have heard good things about both games, although creed one was a let down, length wise dragon age origins is much longer. If you like rpg's leveling up, getting items, questing ect i would get that. If you really want action creed 2 is probably your best choice.Assassins Creed 2 or Dragon Age: Origins?
I would go for Assassins Creed 2 on the basis that 1 was great and they ironed out all the flaws, especially if your an action gamer
