Mass effect 2 or dragon age origins?

i saw these 2 games on psn for cheap $20.

soo which one is better?

which one is more free roam like? so you kno like f*ck around and do what ever you want.Mass effect 2 or dragon age origins?
Neither of them are really free roaming. There's not much to do for fun.

If you're looking for a game for dicking around like grand theft auto I wouldn't recommend either of those games.

Judging them by their own standards, they're both pretty crappy but mass effect 2 is less crappy.
Oh, that's a tough one. Both are excellent games with excellent stories and characters ... but if I had to choose one for replayability, I'd go with Dragon's Age Origins (The Game of the Year Edition will have all the DLC, by the way, and shouldn't be that much more expensive at this point). Playing as a warrior is a completely different experience as a mage, and much more effort seemed to go into integrating the class and race of your character into the story in a more or less seamless way. There are more abilities, which means you'll be able to customize your character to a much greater level. As for exploration, they're both pretty much the same. Mass Effect 2 may look as though it has more to explore, but most of the planets you'll run into are just there for mining. Honestly, both games are great, but if I had to recommend just one, I'd have to give it to Dragon Age Origins.Mass effect 2 or dragon age origins?
although both of the games are not free roam types, mass effect 2 is better hands down and should be a must-buy regardless. it is the best rpg of its time and one of the greatest ever.

Both are pretty amazing games. But I suggest getting Dragon Age: Origins since it definitely has a lot more things you can do (e.g. picking out of 3 different races you want your character to be instead of only having the option to be human in Mass Effect 2). Neither of them are really free roam and you can't randomly kill people like you can in games like GTA or Fallout. But they're still really enjoyable.Mass effect 2 or dragon age origins?
