that weapon the guy uses in trailer i cant tell is that a greatsword a spear a staff or like a mix of all 3 from how he uses it what do you thinkDragon age origins 2 trailer?
In the trailer he is a "battlemage" similar to the first game in which you can use a similar class. It has not been confirmed if the main character starts as a battlemage however, it is a class that you can utilize as a specialization in the game.

Yeah it's some kind of a Staff Sword, hopefully it'll be usable because it looks awesome.
