Well, if you have Assassins Creed 1 already

then I think you can hold off Assassins Creed 2

((Which is really good by the way))

I say you should pick Dragon Age Origins.

Its an amazing RPG with a great storyline and nice graphics.

(:

Later you should try for Assassins Creed 2.

They are both really good thoughAssassins Creed 2 or Dragon Age Origins?
I would get Dragon Age: Origins. Assassins Creed is really good and maybe better than Dragon Age. But theres not much replayability. Once you beat the campaign there isnt much else to do, other than do it over again. In Dragon Age it takes a REALLY long time to get to the max level, and there are a lot of side quests plus a really long main quest. Even better, there are a bunch of different origin stories. This means that every time you pick a different race and class, the WHOLE story changes and so do quests. This really makes u want to play all the different characters. The reason I think DA is better than AC is cause, Dragon Age will keep you entertained for a year or more, Assassins Creed...maybe a couple of months.Assassins Creed 2 or Dragon Age Origins?
It depends on how many games you buy and how much time you can devote to a single game. DAO is a minimum 60 hours to beat with only a single playthrough and no side quests. Most games average 100 hours per playthrough with sidequests. Also there are multiple paths and several origins. If you only play the origins once each to see them and choose a polar opposite morality playthrough a second time the game can be 220 hours. If played seriously for character and story the game can last over 600 hours.

AC2 is an improvement over the original and is alot of fun. I however see no reason for multiple playthroughs so figure it'll be maybe 30 hours of gametime total.

If you eventually plan on getting both I recommend DAO first. For new games you are supposed to get some free DLC. I got the CE version so got all dlc free at launch but I think all new versions are supposed to have one dlc for free. The stonewarden I believe it was.
I got Dragon Age before I got Assassin's Creed 2. I grew tired of Dragon Age after about five hours game-play, that is WHY I got Assassin's Creed 2.

Like many RPGs, Dragon Age just does not have the playability to keep a gamer entertained for hours on end.

Assassin's Creed 2 all the way!
