Where did Dragon Age: Origins get it's peerage titles from?

The titles Arl, Bann, and Teyrn are what I'm referring to. I assumed there are 3 possibilities: 1. They are foreign titles of nobility. 2. They are foreign titles of nobility in a different language. 3. Bioware was tired of the typical titles of nobility and decided to make their own where power is determined less by nobility and more by Battle and Strategy.Where did Dragon Age: Origins get it's peerage titles from?

Yes, I thought they did a great job making up the titles as they sounded so authentic. I thought Arl was rather close to Earl or Jarl (which is the Norwegian equivalent) and seemed similar in context. Bann reminded me of Knight Banneret but that didn't seem nearly as close in terms of meaning. (-:

No way graphic card too weak plus Dragon age requires powerful processor ( mainly because of the poor coding I think) I have amd phenom 2 cores 3.1 ghz and processors always runs at 95-100%.Will the game Dragon Age Origins work on a laptop with these specs.?

your video card is just too underpowerd for that game

its good enough to push the gui of vista and win 7 around

and play games like sims 2 3 wow and olde rgames

but dragon age is just to new and too graphics intensive for that video card to even handle it let alone run it at an acceptable rate if the game even starts

I deleted dragon age origins save file xbox?

hi i just made a huge mistake...i deleted my dragon age origins save file and im wondering if this will badly effect my dragon age 2 game. i still have my awakening and witch hunt file do you think they will have enough info about my choices etc.

please also if you have any ideas on how i could recover my file.its a pity the stupid xbox has no recycle binI deleted dragon age origins save file xbox?
I have no ideas on how to recover the file, but the gameplay in DAII shouldn't be affected.



The only downside is that certain plot items will be automatically set when playing DA II (killing yourself at the end or not for example) instead of you choosing.



The awakening and witch hunt files may not contain enough info, as i read that the savefile has to go all the way back to your origins line

Magic is something that people are born with and grants a terrible power to them. Without control, people could use magic to rule the world, perform mass murder, trick the entire world into believing a lie. It is for that reason that those born with magic are corralled and taught how to properly use and control it. If they are unable to or unwilling to, that person must be eliminated for the good of society.

Should I get Dragon Age Origins or wait?

they have it currently at futureshop and bestbuy for 30 bucks off, so i was thinking of picking it up. the only thing is i just recently bought left 4 dead 2, modern warfare 2 and assassin's creed 2 so i don't really need it now.

should i throw down the coin to grab it while it's cheap? or should i just wait till its that price further down the road?Should I get Dragon Age Origins or wait?

being that it is only single player and theres other good games out right now, im waiting to buy mine. im sure its a good game but if you dont have much money its probably better to wait.

I haven't tried COD MW2, but I do know this. Borderlands replay value stinks, no matter what people say, the game gets stupid plot wise and annoying. The end is a disappointment. Dragon Age I also tried, doesn't seem bad but it really never pulled me in, I actually think the KotoR battle system before was better so i ended up giving it to my friend. COD MW2 might be fun if you have a high end PC. One suggestion I have is to also look forward to Global Agenda, seems like a super futuristic Hellgate.A good PC game to get? ........................ COD MW2, Borderlands Or Dragon-age origins?
When i watched the review for Dragon-age origins. They said that PC was the best console for that game.
